The San Diego Angels Girls Hockey Club has established this page to honor our Coach, Jamie Huntley-Park and her husband, Ryan Park, both San Diego Police Detectives who were tragically killed in a head on collision with a wrong way driver.
When off duty, Jamie would trade out her police uniform for hockey skates, hitting the ice in her role as Head Coach for various age groups in our San Diego Angels Girls Hockey Club, followed up by her role as a USA Hockey Referee, officiating in many world class women’s hockey events around the world including the IIHF and NWHL.
Jamie’s drive for success was complemented by her passion to instill integrity both on and off the ice in the girls she coached. Loosing Coach Jamie will leave a void for so many in our close-knit group of Coaches, players and families in the Club.
To carry her legacy forward, the San Diego Angels have established a scholarship fund in Coach Jamie’s honor. Your purchase today will provide a contribution of 15%, of your overall total, to the scholarship fund.
Help us create a future for girls in hockey by honoring one of the best influences in the sport through your contribution today.
Thank you. ~ San Diego Angels Girls Hockey Club
