Did you know that Hockey Canada issued a bulletin in 2012 with regards to helmet stickers? Hockey Canada will no longer removed a player's helmet from the play for the application of stickers. Read bulletin below.

Here’s what Hockey Canada’s official guidance says: 

 Helmet Stickers & Hockey Canada Policy 

• Hockey Canada’s policy states that players must wear a CSA-certified hockey helmet and the CSA certification sticker must remain on the helmet at all times.

• Hockey Canada recommends against applying anything to the helmet (including stickers) because materials and adhesives could jeopardize the CSA certification or the helmet manufacturer’s warranty.

• If a player or parent chooses to apply stickers, it’s their responsibility to check with the helmet manufacturer that the adhesive won’t affect the shell, certification, or warranty.
