Did you know that Hockey Canada issued a bulletin in 2012 with regards to helmet stickers? Hockey Canada will no longer removed a player's helmet from the play for the application of stickers.

Helmet Stickers & Hockey Canada Policy

Hockey Canada’s policy states that players must wear a CSA-certified hockey helmet and the CSA certification sticker must remain on the helmet at all times.

Hockey Canada recommends against applying anything to the helmet (including stickers) because materials and adhesives could jeopardize the CSA certification or the helmet manufacturer’s warranty.

If a player or parent chooses to apply stickers, it’s their responsibility to check with the helmet manufacturer that the adhesive won’t affect the shell, certification, or warranty.
